1. Status and parties
AUTAVIQ is being prepared for a controlled external pilot. These terms contain the substantive operating framework, but no external pilot or paid subscription should be activated until the AUTAVIQ operating legal entity, postal address and public contact details have been inserted and the participating business has accepted the applicable order form or pilot agreement.
2. What AUTAVIQ provides
Depending on the business category and enabled modules, AUTAVIQ may provide a branded website, customer discovery, My Garage relationships, bookings, messages, quotes, approvals, job-status updates, service-history records, review/trust features, business workspace tools and access to the local automotive network.
AUTAVIQ does not replace the business's accounting, tax, workshop-management or statutory record systems unless a specific integration or module expressly says that it does.
3. Pricing, billing and additional charges
The current public pricing page identifies the applicable category price and any transaction fee, such as a successful car-hire or vehicle-sale fee. The participating business will see the exact price, billing cadence, included modules and any approved add-ons before a paid service begins.
Optional external costs such as premium messaging, premium vehicle-data lookups or domain charges outside the launch offer will be disclosed before they are enabled. No public enquiry form authorises a payment by itself.
4. Launch offer
Where the launch offer is available, the business receives the offer stated on the public pricing page at the time it is accepted. Eligibility, domain availability and any category- specific transaction fees are confirmed before activation. Launch offers do not remove the business's normal legal responsibilities to its customers.
5. Website and domain
AUTAVIQ can configure and host a branded website for the business using information the business supplies or approves. The business is responsible for the accuracy of trading details, opening hours, prices, services, qualifications, accreditations, photographs and other claims supplied for publication.
Where AUTAVIQ supplies or manages a domain as part of an offer, ownership/registration, renewal cost and the exit/transfer process will be confirmed in the order form. AUTAVIQ will not knowingly publish an unverified trust badge or qualification claim.
6. The business/customer relationship
Customers remain free to choose their automotive business. Where a customer connects to a business, AUTAVIQ is designed to preserve that relationship rather than redirect routine work elsewhere. The business remains responsible for the automotive goods/services it supplies, including workmanship, pricing, warranties, refunds and statutory obligations.
7. Business responsibilities
- Keep business identity, contact, opening-hours, service and pricing information accurate.
- Only claim qualifications, approvals, accreditations and trust badges that can be evidenced.
- Use customer information only for legitimate business/service purposes and in accordance with data-protection law.
- Keep staff access individual and remove access promptly when a staff member no longer needs it.
- Record quotes, approvals, job updates and history honestly and correct material mistakes promptly.
- Comply with applicable consumer, automotive, tax, employment, safety and environmental obligations.
8. AUTAVIQ responsibilities
AUTAVIQ will take reasonable steps to operate the platform securely, preserve tenant separation, keep enabled workflows available, maintain appropriate backups/operational controls and avoid publishing information that the platform knows is unverified or false. Controlled-pilot features may change as defects are found and corrected.
9. Data protection and data roles
The garage/business may act as an independent controller for records it must keep about work it performs. AUTAVIQ may act as an independent controller for account/network operations and as a processor where it handles information solely on the business's instructions. The first external pilot agreement will include a data schedule identifying the relevant roles, processing purposes, security expectations, subprocessors, retention and exit handling before real customer data is onboarded.
The public Privacy notice explains the customer-facing position.
10. Reviews and reputation
A business may not buy a better rating, suppress a genuine negative review merely because it is negative, create fake reviews or arrange undisclosed incentivised reviews. AUTAVIQ applies the Review policy to all published consumer reviews.
11. Staff accounts and security
Business access is for authorised staff only. The business is responsible for keeping its staff list current and for promptly reporting suspected compromise. AUTAVIQ may require stronger authentication or suspend a session/account where there is a material security risk.
12. Monthly service, cancellation and offboarding
Monthly subscriptions are intended to be rolling rather than long fixed-term contracts unless a specific order form says otherwise. Cancellation stops future subscription periods in line with the agreed billing date. Legitimate records are not deleted simply to hide completed work, disputes, accounting records or customer history.
Offboarding should include removal of staff access, a reasonable export/transfer route for business-owned content and records, domain handling where applicable, and a documented retention/deletion outcome for data AUTAVIQ no longer needs.
13. Suspension and misuse
AUTAVIQ may restrict or suspend a business where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the network or data, including for suspected fraud, serious security risk, unlawful use, fabricated records/reviews or material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, AUTAVIQ will give the business an opportunity to correct the issue.
14. Intellectual property and business content
Each party keeps ownership of its pre-existing intellectual property. The business keeps ownership of its logo, approved photography and original business content. The business grants AUTAVIQ permission to use that material only as needed to provide and promote the agreed AUTAVIQ service. AUTAVIQ retains ownership of the platform, templates, software and underlying product design.
15. Liability and legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. The business is responsible for the automotive work, goods and professional judgments it supplies. AUTAVIQ is responsible for operating the digital service with reasonable care. Any additional commercial liability limits or service commitments for a paid agreement will be stated in the signed order/pilot agreement before charging begins.
16. Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the law of England and Wales, with the final contracting-party details inserted before activation.
17. Support and notices
Pilot support arrangements are described on the Support page. The formal legal-notice address and public support/privacy contacts will be inserted once the AUTAVIQ operating entity and address are confirmed.
