1. What this notice means by storage
Websites and installed web apps can store or access information on your device using cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies. AUTAVIQ describes them together here because the important questions are what is stored, why it is needed and whether you have a meaningful choice.
2. Current storage inventory
| Use | Provider / location | Purpose | Current status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication and session continuity | AUTAVIQ / Supabase authentication in your browser | Keep you signed in securely, refresh the session and complete passwordless sign-in. | Essential for signed-in areas. |
| Short-lived draft recovery | AUTAVIQ browser storage | Restore supported unfinished forms after a refresh or short interruption. | Expires after 24 hours. |
| Installed web-app resources | Your browser / operating system | Allow AUTAVIQ to be installed and launched as a web app where supported. | Functional; controlled by your browser/device. |
| Business-enquiry attribution | Stored with the submitted enquiry, not as a browsing-history cookie | Record a minimal source/medium/campaign label and AUTAVIQ landing path when a form is actually submitted. | No raw referrer URL or page-view trail retained for this purpose. |
3. Essential authentication and session storage
AUTAVIQ uses Supabase authentication with persisted browser sessions so a one-time email sign-in link can open your account and the service can recognise the authenticated session while you use it. Blocking or clearing this essential storage can sign you out or prevent private account areas from working correctly.
4. Short-lived draft recovery
Supported workflows can save a draft in browser storage so a refresh, short tab switch or accidental navigation does not immediately destroy work in progress. AUTAVIQ draft state expires after 24 hours.
The draft system is not for one-time passcodes, account credentials or payment tokens. Those values must not be persisted through the draft mechanism.
5. Business-enquiry attribution is not a browsing tracker
AUTAVIQ does not create a page-view history for the business/network enquiry form. If a visitor submits the form, AUTAVIQ may attach a small source/medium/campaign label and the AUTAVIQ landing path to that enquiry. The raw external referrer URL, query history and pages browsed are not retained as part of that attribution record.
That submission-only attribution follows the enquiry retention lifecycle described in the Privacy notice.
6. Advertising and non-essential analytics
The current AUTAVIQ public service does not intentionally place advertising cookies, run a behavioural advertising profile or activate non-essential analytics that require consent. For that reason there is currently no consent banner for those technologies.
If AUTAVIQ later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or similar storage that requires consent, the relevant controls will be added and the technology will not be activated until the required choice can be made.
7. Managing storage in your browser
Your browser lets you view, block or clear cookies and stored site data. Clearing AUTAVIQ site data may sign you out and can remove a saved draft before its normal expiry time. Browser controls differ by product, so use the privacy/site-data settings provided by the browser on your device.
8. Runtime review before pilot activation
Before external pilot onboarding, AUTAVIQ will re-check the production browser/runtime storage actually being set by the live deployment and update this inventory if the deployed behaviour differs from the description above.
